Introduction

PraiseHub is a mobile application developed and provided by Gospayme Sàrl-S (“Provider”), registered under RCS number B288238, available on Android and iOS platforms. The application connects clients (event organizers, wedding planners, associations, individuals, and businesses) with service providers (musicians, singers, artists, bands, sound engineers, and beatmakers) for music-related events.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information in compliance with applicable U.S. federal and state laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). By using PraiseHub, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

 

Information We Collect

PraiseHub collects the following categories of personal information:

  • Client Information:

    • Name, first name, and photo: To identify and secure interactions between users.

    • Phone number and email address: To contact users. The phone number is the primary identifier for users on the application.

    • Address: To locate service providers closest to the client. Addresses are not shared with other users but are used for internal application calculations.

    • Payment information (credit/debit card details): To facilitate faster payments.

  • Service Provider Information:

    • Name, first name, and photo: To identify and secure interactions between users.

    • Phone number and email address: To contact the service provider and allow clients to communicate with them after booking for event-related purposes.

    • Address: To identify event opportunities closest to the service provider and to recommend their profile to nearby clients. Only the city and country are disclosed to other users, not the full address.

    • Professional information: Music styles, types of events performed, pricing, photos, videos, experience level, whether performing solo or in a group, and instruments played (for musicians). This information builds the service provider’s profile to provide clients with sufficient details for booking decisions.

    • Payment information (bank account/IBAN): To enable payments to service providers’ bank accounts.

Storage and Processing:

User data is stored on Backendless, a secure backend service, and retrieved via an API. We do not collect tracking or analytics data, such as cookies, to monitor user activities, nor do we share user data with third parties for tracking or analytics purposes. We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information.

We collect crash data to identify issues encountered by users on the platform, improving the user experience. We do not use automated decision-making processes, including profiling, nor do we process sensitive personal information as defined under applicable U.S. laws (e.g., health, biometric, or genetic data).


Legal Basis and Use of Information

We process your personal information based on:

  • Consent: When you sign up, contact us, or otherwise provide explicit permission.

  • Contractual necessity: To provide our services, such as connecting clients and service providers or processing payments.

  • Legitimate interests: For purposes such as improving the platform, marketing, or resolving disputes to protect users.

Your data is primarily used by the PraiseHub team and Backendless for application management. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for purposes other than operating the application and facilitating services.

Retention Period

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for up to three years after deactivation, unless required otherwise by law (e.g., tax or financial regulations).

Data Security

Data is stored on Backendless, with local caching on your device for certain service provider data to enable faster loading and offline functionality. We recommend securing your device with a password or other security measures to prevent unauthorized access to your data. PraiseHub is not responsible for the security of data stored on your device.

Payment Security

At PraiseHub, protecting your payment information is a top priority. We implement the following measures:

  • SSL/TLS Protocols: All transactions are secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or Transport Layer Security (TLS), ensuring data exchanged between you and our platform is encrypted and protected from unauthorized access.

  • Stripe Payment Processing: We use Stripe, a globally recognized payment processor certified compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), to handle all transactions securely.

  • Backendless Security: Our backend, managed by Backendless, ensures robust performance and security for all stored data.

  • Data Encryption: Sensitive information in our database is encrypted using modern encryption algorithms for additional protection.

  • Regular Security Audits: We conduct frequent audits and tests to maintain the integrity of our infrastructure against current threats.

  • Staff Training: Our team is trained in the latest payment security practices to ensure your information is handled with care.

Your data may be stored on servers located outside the United States. We ensure that any such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including the use of appropriate safeguards.

Terms of Use

PraiseHub is a free mobile application for Android and iOS that connects clients and service providers for music-related events. A commission is charged on transactions (3% for service providers, 10% for clients).

By using PraiseHub, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use the application. The Terms are provided before downloading PraiseHub from the App Store or Google Play.

Users must be at least 13 years old and legally capable of entering a contract. Users aged 13–18 require parental or guardian consent. Creating an account is required to become a service provider, create an event, or complete transactions. Limited access is available without an account.

Intellectual Property

PraiseHub is an original application developed in-house by Gospayme Sàrl-S. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and do not tolerate violations of such rights.
